Along its northern side there are two sities with Roman amphoras from the second century B.C. Large fragments of cemented amphoras lie on the depth 9 neters, and pieces and partly damaged vessels at 15 to 28 meters. The sunken ship obviously transported amphoras of different types and sizes. The site has many fragments os ship's crockery and a wheat grindstone. |
